Craftsmen Who Care

Environmental Responsibility

We are proud to be furniture makers who are considerate and passionate about sustainability and our environment. Having studied Environmental Science at University James, the founder of the business, has always been conscious of sustainability and making the right decisions.

“Since studying Environmental Science  I’ve had a strong environmental streak, always taking the wider environment into every decision I’ve made for the past 10+ years.  This is also considered in every business decision where possible, timber is purchased sustainably, we cut down on plastic waste where we can. We even started using antique saws, because they are really good quality and can be resharpened time and time again. The modus operandi for most people is to buy a £10 plastic one and once it is blunt, buy a new one.
